  5. Añadiremos los chorizos, las morcillas, la costilla de cerdo, el trozo de jamón, la panceta y las fabes peladas.
  6. Taparemos la cazuela y cuando arranque a hervir, bajaremos el fuego y dejaremos cocer a fuego lento.
  7. Es importante no mezclar los ingredientes con algún utensilio, hay que ir moviendo la cazuela de vez en cuando para que se vayan mezclando bien los sabores.
  8. Para comprobarlo de sal hay que utilizar una cuchara de madera, nunca de metal. En principio no se le añadido la sal ya que los ingredientes llevan ya bastante sal. Hay que probar la salsa, y si es necesario se la añadiremos.
  9. Vigilar y mover de vez en cuando, y si le faltase caldo hay que añadir agua fría.
  10. Cuando probemos la fabada y notemos que las fabes están blandas por dentro, ya podemos apagar el fuego.
  11. Es importante dejar reposar durante unas dos horas antes de servir la Fabada Asturiana.
